Dollar strength and major-currency performance.
When a licensed or Meridian quote feed is unavailable, M.E. Standard uses European Central Bank daily reference rates to calculate a transparent major-currency comparison. These are official reference observations, not streaming or executable prices; DXY remains unavailable until a qualifying market-data source is connected.
M.E. Standard will describe whether the observed DXY session is strengthening, weakening or flat once a qualifying quote is available.
Checking major FX observations…
Price observations are kept separate from central-bank source evidence and M.E. Standard interpretation. No unavailable quote is estimated or fabricated.
