Public newsroom

The public ME Standard newsroom does not require an account. My Markets, Personal Market Desk preferences, reviewed/dismissed/snoozed items, followed drivers and sources, saved desk views, themes and return-visit state are stored locally in the visitor's browser by default.

If authenticated account sync is later activated, Personal Market Desk records are designed to be scoped to the signed-in account and protected by row-level ownership controls. Account sync is not silently enabled for anonymous visitors. Users can reset local desk state from the Personal Market Desk controls.

Technical logs

Hosting, security and network providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps and requested pages to deliver, monitor and protect the website.

TXM purchases

When TXM commerce is activated, checkout is handled by Stripe. Payment card details are submitted to Stripe and are not intended to be stored by ME Standard. The site may retain information necessary to fulfil and audit an order, including the buyer email address supplied at checkout, product identifier, Stripe checkout/payment references, amount, currency, payment status and entitlement status.

Data minimisation

Order and product-access information is used to provide the purchased product, resolve support or refund issues, prevent duplicate fulfilment, maintain transaction records and meet applicable legal obligations. It should not be reused for unrelated advertising profiling without an appropriate basis and notice.

Third parties

ME Standard may use hosting, market-data, payment, communications and security providers. Each provider may process information under its own terms and privacy obligations. Material new analytics, advertising or account-sync processing will be documented before activation.

Security and retention

No online system can guarantee absolute security. Server-side secrets are kept out of browser code, payment fulfilment is based on verified server-to-server events, and retained information should be limited to what is operationally or legally required.
